Welcome to ENGIE THERMAL Europe! This operational entity of ENGIE has the ambition to be a key enabler of the transition towards carbon-neutral economy!
For ENGIE THERMAL Europe we are currently looking for a Project leader BE Cyber security
Your challenge
Securing the network and information systems on which our generation activities are based, is an essential component of our operations today and tomorrow. Both internal ENGIE guidelines (ENGIE Industrial Control Systems Security Framework) and external legal obligations (Network and Information Systems Security law) require adequate implementation and follow-up within imposed deadlines. As a Project leader in the project team within Cluster North, you will lead the fulfillment of the requirements for our production sites and common systems.
Main activities
- You work closely with the responsible/designated persons in the concerned production sites, the IT department of Thermal Europe and external consultants. The coordination and facilitating role that you play from the Business side is crucial. You furthermore exchange with support functions within Thermal Europe (cluster support manager, business sustainability), with Transformation and Geographies Belgium (Regulatory affairs, legal, procurement) and with the country and corporate Management to achieve the project goals.
- For the assets in your perimeter, you assist in the definition of scope and needs (risk and gap analysis), in determining security policies and in the supervision of internal audits. You support the senior project manager in bringing the proposed scope/budget/capacity/timing towards the TECC/GBU Commitment Committee for approval. In a second phase, you will help to implement the defined measures and supervise external audits. These 2 phases are part of an overarching strategy for all production sites in Cluster North, including the introduction of a common safety management system.
- You are the first point of contact for the sites and for IT and you look with them to the needs with regard to the two sets of requirements. You identify different types of actions, propose priority actions, make budget estimates, look at the possibilities for synergies between the sites / actions. This also includes a critical view on possible implementation strategies.
- When putting in place security measures, you look at both technical and organizational measures necessary to manage the security risks. These measures should ensure an adequate level of physical and logical security. In fulfilling the external requirements, you rely, at least as a guideline, on the international standard ISO 27001. You also contribute in the implementation of a relevant cyber security management system.
- Within the core project team you assist in monitoring the deadlines, budget and quality of the project. You support both the exchange with authorities and the exchange/coordination with the various GBUs/entities active in Belgium. You report to the senior project manager cyber security and the steering committee of the project at Cluster level.
Your Profile
- Technical profile (Bachelor / Master) with 5-10 years operational experience in thermal power generation.
- Experience with an asset based environment.
- Affinity for organization and structure. You like project-based work and creating a new functional network to meet the cyber security challenges.
- You are communicative and a team player. By nature, you play a coordinating and motivating role with attention to stakeholder management.
- You are a problem-solver with a logical mindset and are result-oriented. You are focused on developing pragmatic solutions with a corresponding critical look.
- You are ready to make a concrete contribution to the project in the short term.
- You have the natural reflex to think about data protection.
- You have experience with I&C, DCS, RTU and the operation of power plants. You are familiar with the layers of networks in industrial environments.
- Experience with ISO standardization/quality or management systems and certification is a plus.
- You can express yourself in Dutch, French and English and you are at ease in writing in Dutch or French and English.
