MAIN DUTIES
The CCAM Manager will be responsible for contributing and managing the knowledge project activities linked to Connected and Cooperative Automated Mobility in Urban operations, in collaboration with the CCAM Senior Manager.
This includes, in particular, project management activities in the large scale collaborative innovation project SHOW funded by the European Commission under the coordination of the SHOW Project Director, and the contribution to other running CCAM related projects.
He/She is responsible for facilitating the daily project management activities and the interaction with the project partners.
He/She will work closely with other K&I managers.
This position implies leadership, consensus-building and diplomatic skills in a sensitive environment to conciliate the different interests of the actors for a smooth and successful implementation of the project’s objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project management of the large scale CCAM project SHOW, funded by the EU, under the coordination of the SHOW Project Director, and focusing on the operational management of the project, in collaboration with the project financial and administrative manager and the UITP Project Team.
- Manage or support other CCAM knowledge projects from proposal preparation to execution, including budget and resources forecast and management, content production, communication and dissemination strategy and activities in collaboration with the Communication department;
- Facilitate the exchange of information about Urban CCAM between Projects, UITP bodies and members worldwide, by synthetizing information collected and identifying opportunities to share this information, and contributing to other UITP activities and services like training, events….
- Support UITP knowledge and research in Urban CCAM topics, conciliating the needs of the sector and the association and expectations of all stakeholders;
- Ensure that knowledge elaboration and research output related to CCAM projects contribute to create added value services to the direct benefits of members and answer the priorities of the UITP Integrated Global Work Programme
- Manage the relationship with several key accounts of premium members;
- Support the Mobility Enablers Unit leader and cooperate with other managers;
- Cooperate with the Director and Deputy Directors of Department;

CANDIDATE PROFILE
- University degree
- 3 years experience in project management of EU funded projects (Horizon2020)
- Experience in Cooperative Connected Automated Mobility and fleet management are an asset
- Strong interest for Public Transport and sustainable mobility
- Strong communication skills with capacity to produce and write reports but also to animate a group of experts and synthetize knowledge
- Excellent written and spoken English, other languages are an asset
- Oral communication skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively to an audience
- Collaborative, capability to work both in team but also autonomously
- IT literate
- Good relational competences (good listener, empathy, ability to lead group discussions, team player)
- Service minded
- Positive, pro-active and problem-solving attitude,
- Readiness to travel
- Stress-resistant and ability to work under pressure (mainly for on-site events)
- Integrity, work ethic and professionalism
