Description

Our partner is looking for a Project Manager to strengthen its Operations department. The purpose of your position is to lead and manage the project lifecycle according to customer needs, business transformation and technological innovation.

Your tasks will include the creation, adaptation and implementation of the structure and services.

In the preparation phase, your focus is on the definition of the project and preparation in collaboration with customers and the internal experts (the project team):

  • Intake the project requests from the program management committee (CAB/PM)
  • Identify customer and stakeholders
  • Assess and challenge the objective, cost, impact, desired end product, requested delivery and services with the stakeholders
  • In collaboration with the business/functional analyst and lead development, validate the business needs, functional and technical validation of the requested solutions
  • Produce project plan according to methodology (agile approach and waterfall), set up planning with milestones to be achieved, define budget
  • Propose the project plan to the program management committee for validation

During the implementation phase:

  • Focus on project management with a view to monitoring the development and acceptance of the solution through to operationalisation and change management
  • Take charge of the project, monitor the scope, project plan, follow the release schedule, budget, progress of the work
  • Coordinate all activities and communicate and coordinate with all customers/stakeholders/services involved

In case of new customers:

  • Organize workshops
  • Coordinate all activities: Coordinating the concretization of the service, consulting intensively with the customer throughout the project, Follow-up of the integration in collaboration with the person in charge of Marketing
  • Manage resources (people and means)
  • Organize user tests and participate in their execution
  • Identify and manage all risks and issues related to the project
  • Provide periodic reports to the committee and systematically consult with the project initiator/sponsor (executive)
  • Provide project management administration and reporting: Updates project plans and timesheets, provides timely and accurate data to PMO for the Manager Operations’ management reports
  • Evaluates project progress and completion for knowledge sharing and lesson learned

Your profile

  • At least 5 years of experience in project management or at least in the financial sector
  • At least a bachelor degree in economics, engineering or finance
  • Bilingual Dutch and French with a knowledge of English
  • Customer oriented
