Project Manager - Upstream & Process Technologies, All CCEP Locations
Job Summary:
The team is responsible for the engineering and technical operations of the organisation. Depending on the organisation, activities may involve various branches of the engineering profession, for example electronic, environmental, mechanical, maintenance or plant engineering. Activities include designing, constructing, testing and operating equipment; ensuring that standards of quality, cost, safety, reliability, timeliness and performance are met in production processes; and interpreting plans, drawings and specifications.
In this role, you will develop and improve CCEP’s Upstream and Process infrastructure through:
- Development of specific technical and economic solutions for Process and Utilities capacity and optimisation projects.
- Deliver engineering projects (primarily Process and Utilities related) from concept to handover.
What to expect:
Technical and economic solution development of Process and Utilities infrastructure projects: Boilers, compressors, chillers, water treatment, beverage/syrup preparation, product blending or similar processing systems.
- Develop and align with all relevant stakeholders the business case for Process and Utilities capacity and optimisation.
- Lead the development of specific technical solutions and project plans
- Identify suitable suppliers
Engineering project delivery from concept to handover:Primarily Process and Utilities.
- Define scope, estimate costing and support business case development.
- Initiate capital requests and co-ordinate equipment procurement and supplier selection.
- Manage project programme and cost to budgets and business needs.
- Support project design and contractor technical management.
- Manage internal stakeholders and customers to ensure project scope, timing and handover process is clear and to programme.
- Manage project safety and safe design processes.
- Manage, together with site operations resources, the installations and commissioning leveraging supplier relationships and technical expertise.
- From time to time anticipate being allocated to projects in other disciplines (Filling and Packaging or Warehouse and Logistics) according to CCEP needs.
- Expect to be allocated to projects 75 to 80% in CCEP BU of residence and 20 to 25% in other BU.
Skills & Essentials:
Experience preferred
1 or 2 years as site engineering and/or engineering project management (projects >0.5 m€) with passion to growth technically Upstream and Process skills.
Experience gaining support and commitment to deliver a project on time, scope, performance and budget.
Desired; young talented engineers working in CCEP sites who want to grow by developing Project Management skills and expanding Upstream and Process technology expertise by connecting with large experienced Senior U&P engineers.
Language capability FR:Fluent in written and verbal communication in country based and in English.
Qualification required
Engineering, Industrial process and chemical technology and/or Project management tertiary education.
Qualification preferred
Degree level in engineering or chemistry with demonstrated experience in at least one of the following disciplines:
- process scope: Ingredients handling (liquid/solid) and storage on tanks, blending, sterilization, CIP , hygienic design.
- water treatment scope: water treatment, waste water treatment
- energy scope: renewal energy, recovery energy, air compressors, boilers, chillers and coolers.
Functional technical skills required
Knowledge of Food Safety requirements and hygienic designs.
Activities include scope definition, design, coordination, control and planning; managing supplier relationships; supply chain & vendor management.

Location:
Office/Site based but consider the role is field based on the basis of travelling to and working from the location of active projects or technical support according to demand and business.
Travel required:
~ 70 % time travel required in country/outside together
