We are looking for colleagues to join our team and provide project support to our project and programme managers, contributing with a great impact on the different aspects of project management. As a member of the Managed Services capability within PwC Advisory, you’ll help our clients in their day-to-day execution to achieve their business objectives. You will help them to innovate and change to adopt new ways of working.

Managed Services is the operational execution engine of PwC Advisory. Our mission is to help clients solve complex operational challenges and reach ambitious business objectives. We work hand-in-hand with our colleagues of the other PwC Advisory teams to develop, deploy and run operational solutions combining the best experience, methodologies and technologies. Our team turns ideas and insights into actions and results and gets things done.

What you’ll learn and do

As a Project Support Officer, your role is to support projects/programmes by ensuring that internal processes, best practices and operations run smoothly. You will work with internal/external project managers on a daily basis and carry a wide range of responsibilities.

As part of the PwC community, you will focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement in order to create an uninterrupted value stream. You will provide high-quality services and continuously look for improvements in your daily tasks.

On certain projects, you will be part of the digitalisation journey of our clients by helping them to benefit from the growing importance of digital tools.

You will hold a broad range of responsibilities.

Providing project support:

  • Coordination of internal and client meetings and drafting meeting minutes

  • Monitor and update the project action list

  • Onboarding of new colleagues on the programme and provision of all programme information and practicalities

  • Draft/design status presentations and executive summaries

  • Support communication between various stakeholders

  • Help to improve the process and the organisation

  • Contract management, follow up and review

  • Team staffing and reconciliation with the internal planning tool while also proactively identifying staffing risks

  • Consolidate all important files (proposal, Steering Committee decks, contracts, deliverables, invoicing, etc.)

  • Act as the right-hand of the project/programme manager and helping him/her with any ad hocactivities

Project finance follow-up:

  • Financial reporting: set up and configure initial financial reports, extract inputs from systems, perform analyses and look for inconsistencies, interpret results, and share key messages and recommendations with the project manager

  • Value tracking management and weekly/monthly dashboard creation

  • Budget monitoring and follow-up: get a clear view of the project budget at any time including actual efforts, forecasts, expenses and project key figures

  • Invoicing and expenses follow-up: identify irregularities and consolidate monthly expenses to be invoiced to the client

Always looking for continuous improvement:

  • Help to improve process and organisation

  • Discuss possibilities with the team leader and other team members to implement new solutions

  • Participate in internal or external projects aimed at streamlining processes and increasing efficiency in daily operations

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum one year of relevant experience

  • Interest in web-based technologies

  • Fluent in English, French and Dutch (both written and spoken)

  • Keen to help PwC clients have the best possible customer journey

  • Curious, keen to learn and develop your knowledge and skills

  • Interested in hands-on experience

  • Client-oriented and solutions-oriented

  • Multi-tasker (achieving maximum time efficiency)

  • Strong organisational and analytical skills

  • Excellent communicator (also via phone and email)

  • Team player and collaborative

  • Works in a structured way and able to manage stressful circumstances
