A well-known global Medical Device company is looking for a young talent to join their team as a Quality Assurance Engineer in Belgium. If you have an Engineering background, Dutch language and a good motivation to become a real expert in the field, then this is a perfect opportunity for you!

Within this company, you will have a great team of colleagues in Quality Assurance to collaborate with and learn from as well as a quality training that you would need to succeed in this field. Moreover, you will be working on a very interesting portfolio of products ranging from screens in operating rooms to AI and robotics.

Responsibilities
  • Controls the performance against the quality management system, established standards, quality assurance compliance objectives, reporting KPIs, relevant data and statistics.
  • Executes internal audits against QMS requirements
  • Supervises that non-conforming material is retrieved and segregated.
  • Coordinates the resolution of manufacturing, service and field specific quality issues.
  • Ensures the execution of root cause analysis and corrective & preventive actions which ensures continuous improvement through regular time bound product, process and/or workmanship audits.
  • Informs and asks for corrective and preventive actions from procurement/SQA in case the reject is caused by an external supplier.
  • Analyses product and process performance data and reports quality performance to Operations management.
  • Authority to hold the production for major non conformity till the time necessary.
  • You are responsible, on behalf of plant, for the verification of engineering changes
  • Chairs material review board meetings and red alerts related to manufacturing and actively participates in Product Quality Meetings
  • Evaluates and authorizes exceptional out of calibration procedures, etc.
Requirements
  • An Engineering background
  • Fluent level of Dutch and English
  • Willingness to work in the office the whole time (only 1 day per week of home office possible).
