Louvain-la-Neuve site is strategic within Zoetis network, specialized in vaccines and covering all steps of production, from the Research & Development, through the production of antigens, formulation of the vaccine, filling of vials and syringes to the Packaging and storage of the commercial product, including QC activities required at each step of the production.

The site has grown exponentially over the last 3 years and this trend will continue for the years to come.

To reinforce our Engineering, Maintenance & Utilities department (EMU), we are searching for a Senior Manager, Maintenance & Equipment Reliability.

Job Description

As part of the Engineering, CAPEX and reliability department, your role will be focused on improving equipment reliability and ensuring effective preventive maintenance plans.

Your role will be:

• To work closely with Project Engineering to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installation.
• To define, develop, monitor and refine an asset maintenance plan that includes:
  • Value-added preventive maintenance activities
  • Effective utilization of predictive and other non-destructive testing methodologies designed to identify and isolate inherent reliability problems;
• To guide efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, controls and safety/security systems;
• To provide inputs to the Business Continuity Plan that will anticipate reliability-related risks that could adversely impact plant operation;
• To reflect and propose solutions to repetitive failures and all other issues that adversely affect plant operations;
• To work with maintenance and production teams to perform analyses of assets including:
  • Asset utilization
  • Overall equipment effectiveness
  • Operating costs
  • Life cycle asset management;
• To organize integrated preventive maintenance planning.

Profile

Technical/Functional Expertise

• You have a proven experience in Maintenance and/or Equipment reliability. (> 5 years)
• You can demonstrate your ability to lead transformation programs
• You have a clear view of all maintenance/calibration flows (preventive, corrective, emergency, modificative, spare parts, criticality assessments) and how maintenance should be performed to increase the productivity, decrease risks and make our processes more robust and sustainable.
• You have good knowledge of Operational Excellence principles (FMEA, KAIZEN, RCA). You have problem-solving capabilities.
• You are able to conduct improvement projects from End-to-end.

Leadership

• You have good influencing skills to drive decisions, alignment, and conflict resolution for cross-functional issues

Interaction

• You are able to easily engage with internal stakeholders to drive performance and achieve expected results in the interest of the organization.
• You have a transversal approach.

Innovation

• You are interested in new technologies;

Education, Behavioural Competencies and Skills

• Degree in engineering (Dipl. Ing. / M. Sc. / B. Sc.) or equivalent (mechanical / process / chemical or equivalent
• Languages: French and business fluent proficiency in English & (written and oral).
• Experience: minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance, engineering or production environment.
• High communication skills, analytical mindset, ability to work under pressure
• Innovative thinking
• Used to working in a complex / matrix organization.
• Can establish and coordinate service contracts with external service providers
