The development of our activity leads us to reinforce our operational team in the field and we are recruiting for our Customer site in Gent, Belgium, a :

RESIDENT ENGINEER (M/F) ON PERMANENT CONTRACT

You will represent the automotive supplier to the car manufacturer. You will be responsible for the quality of the products delivered and will ensure the reactivity and treatment of quality incidents. You analyse problems and provide feedback to the customer and develop an action plan to present to him. You are the intermediary between the automotive supplier and the car manufacturer (final customer) and ensure that both parties are satisfied.
YOUR MISSIONS :

- Maintain a good relationship with all the final customer’s teams
- Gather information about the supplier’s quality issues
- Carry out the first steps of the analysis during quality incidents
- Produce activity reports for the supplier
- Follow up the action plans of the supplier
- Implement the necessary sorting actions
- May be required to isolate non-compliant parts for return to the supplier
- Make proposals to improve the quality of the supplier
- Respect the environmental, hygiene and safety rules of the final customer
- Respect the internal rules (Customer and Formel D)
- Coordinate activities related to technical aspects and product quality
- Communicate and follow up action plans.

YOUR PROFIL :

You have a degree in automotive engineering or equivalent experience, you are certified HEV2 and ideally HEV3. You have at least 2 years of professional experience in a similar position in the automotive industry. You have knowledge of the production of batteries for electric cars and you are able to read technical drawings. You have knowledge of quality control and you are familiar with the Office package. You are fluent in written and spoken English and have a good command of Dutch.
You are recognised for your rigour, your organisation, your sense of priorities, your ability to summarise, your availability and your sense of discretion. You have good written and oral communication skills. You like to work in a team and you show initiative.
The position is to be filled immediately with white Collar workers status for a working week of 40 hours.
