Job Description

As our Retail Manager, you will oversee daily retail management by managing your own portfolio of brands. You will do this by:

  • Supporting new store openings and ensuring correct ’unit handover’ through approval of the brands
  • Working work closely with all our departments, especially our marketing team on marketing campaigns to drive and maximize sales and footfall in our Village.
  • Providing provide new ideas for special events, holiday promotions, and other marketing initiatives by being aware of the latest fashion trends and important retail related calendar dates.
  • Acts as the main support for the Retail Director and team in the planning and development of the retail management activities and initiatives of the Village.
  • Improving our brands sales, in-store merchandising and presentation, customer services/sales, and inventory turnover

The position includes 1 day of home office/week.

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Have an excellent understanding of the (inter)national fashion and retail market
  • Experience working with high-end fashion brands or multi-national clothing/accessory brands
  • To be fluent in English and Dutch or French. All other languages are desirable
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritise varying demands whilst working under pressure and outstanding attention to detail
  • Be a strong analytical and strategic thinker with excellent decision making and communication skills
  • Have confidence in working with varying levels of clients with different status, cultures and behaviours
  • Be passionate to act as an ambassador for our Village, delivering excellent customer service and exceeding client expectations
  • Be a natural leader, someone is passionate about working with people and divers teams but has no issue in working individually
  • Flexibility to work on a shift pattern basis, including weekends
