As Sales & Operations Planning Manager, you will play an essential role in animating the entire S&OP process for the Benelux BU on a long-term horizon.

What will be your regular activties ?

S&OP Management: (60-70%)

Activity & Demand Management:

• Lead local Demand Planning process on a mid-term horizon, at a family level and co build demand plan with Sales Marketing CODIR
• Consolidate forecasting meetings outputs (key assumptions, risks opps)
• Collect information from Marketing on new products Phase In discontinued products Phase Out process (mid-term vision)
• Propose demand plan based on statistical analysis, considering market trends, Customers vision, expected exceptional, Guidelines from zone Executive S&OP issued from previous S&OP cycles
• Perform gap analysis with budget, month M 1
• Populate Demand Package including risks ops, key assumptions, and valorized scenarios
• Facilitate Demand Review Meeting with BU CODIR (preparation (Demand package), presentation and action plan follow up)
• Validate agreed mid-term Demand Plan in the S&OP tool according to Demand Review

Meeting discussions and decisions
Supply and Inventory Management:

• Assess and recommend stock target and control.
• Monitor appropriate level of inventory to meet BU WC target
• Consolidate Supply Review meetings done with suppliers

Management / Coordination (10-20%)

• Management of demand / inventory planners
• Coordination all members of S&OP Process (local CODIR, retailers, suppliers)
• Develop and promote demand driven culture through trainings and day to day work

Projects development (10-20%)

• Develop, implement, and manage key supply chain improvement projects
• Ensure maintain proper customization of S&OP tool and JDA tool
• Participate to Business Development, shared forecasts at POS
• Be proactive and propose improvements of actual processes Management

What are the key requirements for this role ?

Minimum level of education and professional experience needed:

• Master’s degree in supply chain management or Business school
• Minimal 5-7 years of relevant experience within complex organizations (preferably FMCG)

Specific knowledge (foreign languages, software, technical skills):

• S&OP tool (key user S&OP tool)
• Fluent in English, French and (NL is an important plus)
• Strong leadership skills (experience in people management)
• Supply Chain APICS certification is a plus
• Statistics tools & Financial performance understanding
• Knowledge about local market: distributors, products, channels, market insights
• Proficient in Pack office: Excel, Word, Power Point
• Experience with ERP / APS is appreciated: SAP, JDA, BW
