We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our IT Services team as an SAP Application Engineer. You will be actively involved in the implementation of SAP S/4Hana and contribute to the blueprint workshops and acceptance testing. After go live, you will be responsible for providing support and managing the SAP S/4HANA system to ensure its smooth operation and optimization. Furthermore enhancements related to the integration of SAP S/4 HANA in the total Parkwind application landscape, will also be one of the responsibilities

Your role:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all SAP S/4HANA system-related inquiries and issues from end-users within the organization.
• Provide timely and effective support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for SAP S/4HANA users, including incident management and escalation as needed.
• Perform system monitoring, maintenance, and regular health checks to ensure system availability, performance, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and understand business requirements, translating them into system configurations and enhancements.
• Manage user access and authorizations within the SAP S/4HANA system, ensuring compliance with security policies and best practices.
• Conduct regular user training and knowledge sharing sessions to promote efficient and effective system usage.
• Proactively identify areas for system improvement and optimization, suggesting and implementing appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with external vendors and partners for system upgrades, patches, and other technical activities.
• Stay updated on the latest SAP S/4HANA features, functionalities, and industry best practices.

Your profile:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a Finance background with a strong affinity for ICT
• Proven experience as a SAP S/4HANA system administrator or application owner, preferably in a similar industry, will be a plus
• In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA modules and functionality, including but not limited to Finance, Supply Chain, and Project Systems, will be a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues
• Proficiency in system monitoring, performance tuning, and system health checks
• Hands on experience in implementing at least 2 Full cycle SAP implementation projects
• Familiarity with incident management processes and tools
• Understanding of business processes related to finance with integration of other modules and business functions such as Month-end processing, is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical users
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and implement system improvements
• SAP certifications in relevant modules will be a plus
• Experience in project and change management is an asset
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus
