Job Description

Together with other specialists, you make sure SAP solutions for the maintenance of the rolling stock in SNCB’s workshops are operational, expand them and renew them at the request of the customer. To do so, you critically review each request for change in terms of necessity and feasibility, while respecting the processes.
  • Implementation of major changes and projects in the current SAP ECC6.0 PM/CS solution for SNCB’s rolling stock:
    • participating in blueprint workshops;
    • critically analysing change requests;
    • drafting User Requirement Specifications;
    • writing functional specifications for enhancements (changes to the existing solution);
    • acting as the first point of contact for the ABAP developers during the development of those enhancements;
    • carrying out functional unit tests on the enhancements;
    • organising and executing integration and acceptance tests;
    • creating training material for key and end users;
    • preparing the transition to production;
    • vouching for the hypercare after a go-live.
  • Daily functional support of the solution:
    • answering tickets from (key) users;
    • debugging;
    • monitoring jobs.
Requirements
  • Master’s degree in engineering or applied economics;
  • at least five years of experience in SAP PM/CS modules and experience of configuration; at least two full life cycle implementations in SAP PM/CS in industrial or MRO companies;
  • knowledge of and experience in the following areas: setting up maintenance organisation, maintaining master data, preventive maintenance planning, notifications, executing work orders, maintaining history reporting, invoicing maintenance;
  • good knowledge of at least one other SAP module (PS, QM, SD, CO, MM, WM);
  • integration knowledge: SAP FI, CO, MM, WM, SD, PS;
  • team player with excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • good knowledge of Dutch, French and English;
  • ability to work independently, strong problem-solving skills, proactive attitude;
  • knowledge of Microsoft tools;
  • knowledge of the equivalent of PM/CS solutions in S/4 HANA is an asset;
  • great eagerness to learn and sheer perseverance.
