Role: Analytical Development Analyst

Location: Brain l’Alleud, Belgium (Hybrid)

Duration: Till the end of the year 2025 + Extension Possible

Job description:

Typical day:

The week tend to go with a discussion with the scientist responsible for the project about the method being worked on.
This involves a scientific discussion and possibly a literature search to find other solutions or approaches that could improve the method.
Then, the work moves to the lab bench, where the product is analyzed, the method is developed, and parameters are adjusted to optimize results.
Later in the week, the focus shifts to analyzing the results using software like Empower.
The results are processed and tabulated to be presented in meetings.

Years of experience:

The ideal candidate should be relatively junior but must have at least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry to ensure they have a solid background in pharmaceutical laboratory quality standards.

Must Have:

Experience with Empower software
Knowledge of liquid chromatography, including UV, RI, and potentially LSD detection
A scientific mindset that enjoys challenging results
Additionally, while not mandatory, having experience with peptides and basic knowledge of mass spectrometry would be advantageous. The candidate should also possess good team spirit and social skills, as they will be joining a dynamic and well-coordinated team.
