Job description:

After having acquired a working knowledge of the processes managed by the Supply Center team, and systems used to support them, you will develop yourself as a specialist in a specific domain.
Initially you will support an experienced manager-specialist, with the potential to become responsible for a specific domain on longer term.

* Although you are part of the SCM Planning team, you will work frequently as member of temporary cross functional project teams, related to specific Supply Chain improvements or corporate projects like SAP rollouts to affiliated sales companies or factories.
* As we are an international company, occasional traveling will be required.
* Your knowledge of Supply Chain Management and SAP (R3/S4Hana) allow you to evaluate the impact if business environment changes on our Supply Chain, formulate appropriate changes or new processes and translate these into project proposals towards our IT department.
* During the implementation of these projects, you will also be responsible for testing the developments of IT and approving them for go-live.
* Post Merge Integrations of newly acquired companies into our Supply Chain processes will also be part of your activities.
* With your in-depth knowledge of specific processes and systems, you are also the contact point for operational planners and managers, in case of issues they encounter and cannot solve by themselves.

Profile description:

* Master degree in economics or engineering with a high interest for IT
* Some years of experience in Supply Chain in an international company with a complex supply chain
* Strong analytical skills
* Good communication skills and team player, but also able to work independently
* Hands-On experience with SAP R3 or S4/Hana, preferably as key-user (MM,SD)
* Experience as SAP consultant (MM,SD) considered as an advantage
* Advanced user of MS Office tools
* Continuously looking for process improvements and out-of-the-box thinking
* Good knowledge of English, verbal and written is a must
