My leading Financial Services client is currently looking for a SCM Release Manager to join their team based in Brussels or Antwerp. This is a great opportunity to support the current Digital Transformation journey on a 6-Month Rolling Contract

Key Skill and Responsibilities:
Assess and advise on current Software Configuration Management (SCM) including (tools, versioning, branching strategy, …)
Propose and design a solution, including the tooling, taking into account the existing processes of change & release management and the synchronization of BAU and Temporary (for the migration) environments
Set up and Implement the chosen solution
Migration of SCMÂ and mplementation of new solution to current Tech landscape
Cose collaboration with the team to determine the Software Configuration Management (SCM) solution in order to integrate SCM and deployments
Deployment pipeline alignment with the existing SDLC and the integration with automated testing and code quality checksMust -Have:

Minimum 5yrs+ experience in a similar role/environment
Solid experience of (uniform) solutions for (automated) deployment of applications (code) and infrastructure as code, a specialist who can investigate, design and roll out/migrate the best solution.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD tooling (BAMBOO, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, ANSIBLE, …)
Hands-on knowledge of the current SCM tools (GIT, Bitbucket, SVN, …)
Design a solution proposal in terms of technical solution and cost
Ability to present the proposals to all stakeholders (both technical and non-technical)
Effective at guiding and supporting a team of operational Infrastructure and OPS engineers
Dutch language skills essentialÂ
