Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job Description

Mission Description

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for the following activities:
  • Market Analysis:
    • Conduct market studies to identify the most suitable suppliers for specific product categories based on their expertise, quality, delivery capabilities, cost-efficiency, and environmental standards.
    • Benchmark the European market to identify potential suppliers.
    • Use a Request for Information (RFI) process to assess suppliers’ capabilities.
  • Supplier Management:
    • Manage the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process with selected suppliers, analyze proposals, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for supplier selection.
    • Prepare and negotiate contract terms and conditions with suppliers, focusing on cost and other key factors.
    • Investigate opportunities for cost optimization during mass production.
    • Participate in evaluating supplier performance during mass production.
  • Reporting:
    • Present analyses in a structured manner, explaining conclusions and making recommendations to senior management.
Travel Requirements
  • Occasional business trips, typically short stays of 2 to 3 days.
Specific Requirements
  • Skills: Flexibility, strong communication skills, positive attitude, proactive, and the ability to work independently.
  • Profile Requirements:
    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline. An MBA is a plus.
    • Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or purchasing department. Experience in the automotive industry is advantageous. Familiarity with Japanese business culture is a plus.
    • IT Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Fluent English
    • Nice to Have: Czech, Turkish, French, or Japanese proficiency
