Job content:

As a System Engineer with an expertise in Windows, you’ll be responsible for managing business-critical (web) applications such as e-commerce websites, SAAS applications on the various Cloud platforms on a daily basis.

Within Sentia we strongly believe in the right tools for the right job. Which is why you will work with private clouds as well as with public cloud environments such as Azure and AWS.

Our Expectations:

• You are familiar with - and have a passion for Microsoft technologies. We would love to hear about your fun side-projects that you’re playing with at home.
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Server operating system, including operational experience with Windows Server 2012(R2), 2016 or 2019. We also expect conceptual experience with virtualisation and the associated solutions and technologies.
• Advanced knowledge in one or more server roles or frameworks and middleware and application servers such as Microsoft SQL Server, Internet Information Server or Windows Server Update Services.
• You have the necessary knowledge of Internet Protocol Suite and a basic knowledge of networking.
• We believe that everyone can grow, regardless of their education, but a technical background and education is a plus (civil or industrial engineer, bachelor IT, ...). A great passion that can be substantiated with personal projects is of course also a strong plus!
