TAKENPAKKET

• You have a high profile position in Recycling Raw Materials with an important impact on the Recycling segment within Aurubis. As Buyer you will work closely with various other functions like Supply Chain Management, Operations, Legal and related suppliers to optimize the value creation in our recycling material flows;
• This role develops & executes the appropriate commercial strategies and negotiates strategic contracts to properly manage supply and profitability. It is important to collaborate with various internal stakeholders to ensure a TCO approach is deployed around following tenets: Quality, Security of Supply, Competitiveness and Innovation;
• You will provide project work for the market base analysis and promotion of Aurubis Olen’s strategic projects;
• You will report to the regional Team Leader and intensively collaborate within the Multimetal Recycling sourcing team.

JOUW TALENTEN

• You have a degree in Economics, Business, Supply Chain or related field;
• You have at least 10 years of relevant purchasing experience on an international level and are able to work in a multi-cultural environment;
• Experience in the Non Ferrous or Mining Industry is a definite plus;
• You have knowledge of supply contract design and experience in using commercial standard terms (e.g. competitive price provisions, force majeure, KPI’s,…);
• You are fluent in English. Any other language is a plus;
• You have a good understanding of chemistry and analytical skills to perform feedstock cost and/or other analysis;
• You are an accomplished negotiator with demonstrated ability to win value in situations where suppliers may possess greater leverage.
