Job Description

As the Estate Planner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting clients with wealth and succession planning while ensuring optimal service delivery. Your goal will be to build long-term, trust-based relationships with clients. In this dynamic role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Client Relationship: Assisting clients in developing comprehensive wealth and estate plans tailored to their unique needs, focusing on matrimonial, inheritance, and tax planning.
  • Representation: Representing the bank by participating in conferences, seminars, and presentations aimed at clients and prospects to showcase expertise and build relationships.
  • Support Services: Providing specialized tax and legal support to our ’Private Bankers,’ enabling them to deliver exceptional service to high-net-worth clients.
  • Inspiration: You will be the reference in a dynamic team of nine professionals, fostering a collaborative environment, and driving performance excellence.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all estate planning activities comply with applicable laws and regulations, including ongoing updates based on changes in matrimonial, inheritance, and tax legislation.

The Successful Applicant

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a proven track record in estate planning, particularly in legal and notarial contexts. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Educational Background: A master’s degree in law, an experience as a Tax Lawyer will be appreciated.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 10 years of demonstrable experience in estate planning, with a strong focus on matrimonial law, inheritance law, and tax law.
  • Client-Centric Approach: A customer-oriented mindset with exceptional communication skills, capable of simplifying complex legal and tax matters for clients.
  • Analytical Skills: Precision, critical thinking, and the ability to proactively identify and implement effective solutions.
  • Initiative and Leadership: A proactive approach to work, with the ability to lead a team effectively and contribute to the organization’s strategic goals.
  • Team Collaboration: A strong team player who values cooperation and shared success.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in French, with a solid working knowledge of Dutch; proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
