For a client active in the online media (international scope), we are actively looking for a Senior Financial Planning Analyst, thanks to growth of the turnover.

The company is Based in Brussels and offers a hybrid work system.

Job description

In this role, you’ll collaborate with senior members of the Accounting and Finance team and with the Executive team, and you’ll be utilizing your technical expertise to provide the following tasks:

Budgeting / Forecasting

  • Preparation of annual Baseline Budgets / Plans
  • Preparation of monthly rolling forecasts
  • Preparation of Budgets / Plans linked to expansion projects (new product, new market,…)
  • Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecasts
  • Develop financial models and analyze them to support strategic initiatives

Decision support

  • Advise management on decisions such as how to improve performance, minimize risk or capture new opportunities from both within the company and within the external environment

Special projects

  • M&A: Buy-side support, integration and divestitures
  • Process optimization : implementation of Budgeting and Forecasting software’s / tools

Profile

  • Master degree in Corporate Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • Fluent French and English
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in an international environment
  • Demonstrates excellent financial and quantitative skills
  • Strong Knowledge of Excel
  • Ability in financial modelling (revenues & costs)
  • Ability to analyze financial figures and respect deadlines
  • Good knowledge of Belgian GAAP / IFRS
  • Pro-active, organized, dynamic and accurate
  • Intellectual agility and perseverance
  • Team player and ability to work independently
