Salary:€90,000 - €100,000

Location:Zaventem, Belgium (On-site: Full-time, Visa and Accommodation provided for non-European candidates)

Job Overview:

A leading company is seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst with deep experience in logistics and customs systems to manage the evolution of their logistics and customs platforms. This role is essential for supporting the company’s air transport operations and ensuring compliance with regulations. As part of the team, the candidate will work on improving existing systems, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and providing continuous support for logistics processes.

Responsibilities:
  • System Management:Lead the design, analysis, and continuous improvement of logistics and customs systems.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:Gather and define business requirements, ensuring alignment with operational needs.
  • Project Lifecycle Management:Oversee IT projects, from planning and execution to testing and post-implementation support.
  • Air Transport Focus:Optimize logistics processes specific to air transport operations.
  • Technical Translation:Convert business requirements into detailed technical specifications for the development team.
  • Regulatory Compliance:Ensure systems adhere to logistics and customs regulations.
  • Support & Troubleshooting:Provide ongoing system support, addressing issues and implementing enhancements.

    • Key Qualifications:
    • Experience:5+ years in IT business analysis, focusing on logistics and customs systems.
    • Industry Expertise:Proven experience in the transport and logistics industry, especially air transport.
    • Project Management:Experience in project management and process improvement.
    • Languages:English proficiency. Additional languages are a plus.

    • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Familiarity with air transport logistics systems and technologies.
    • Experience with systems similar to global logistics platforms.
    • Knowledge of transport management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and customs declaration systems.

    • Work Conditions:

    • On-site Requirements:Full-time, on-site presence in Zaventem.
