- Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks. Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP.
- Network Infrastructure Design Role (Network Readiness for Operations).
- Ensure alignment with IT Operations standards:
- Hardware (Manufacturer, model, firmware) (e.g. Cisco, …)
- Software (version / patch level)
- Configuration standards (naming, access credentials, parameters)
- Receive handover from P1 project team (many small handovers)
- Manage IP schema
- 3rd level operations support during Construction
- Monitoring
- Support SIP activities (operations)
- Knowledge of Cisco platforms and products.
- Proven experience and success with LAN, WAN, WLAN, WWAN design and implementation.
- Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles and general network management best practices.
- Strong, hands-on technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems.
- Extensive knowledge and hand-on with network protocol.
- Fluently English-speaking; Dutch is a good addition.
