仕事内容
GOT International is looking for two part-time employees with a profile of social assistant to work in Geel- Belgium on the following tasks:
1. Welcoming new officials, contract staff, trainees, scientific visitors, etc. and assisting them in finding or renting proper accommodation. Contribute to the integration in the region and solve problems related to expatriate status;
2. Assisting at home in urgent cases (e.g. serious illness, death) and finding solutions to the demands for care;
3. Advising and help staff and their family members coping with difficulties such as invalidity, family or financial problems, or with problems related to the work environment and social integration in compliance with the Staff Regulations;
4. Liaison with retired staff and their families living in the region, providing support and help where required;
5. Addressing other psychosocial needs in the domains of prevention, welcome services, aid and assistance, help and guidance in family and relation crises, divorce assistance and mediation, advice for youth, crisis shelter, victim support services, etc:
6. Advising staff and their families about the existing options for help available
7. Maintaining records and writing reports according to the instructions received from the Medical Service.
The candidate must be fluent in both Dutch and English. We encourage persons with a proven experience in social assistance and a good knowledge of the region to apply. Travelling across Belgium and abroad may happen 2/3 times per year.
Candidates must have a valid driving license and a car.
