Your Mission

Optimy is looking for a talented PHP software engineer who would be interested in joining our venture. As a member of the IT Operations Team, you will be at the center of various departments and teams to ease the daily activities of the company.

1) Software Optimization

Adopting an agile approach, you will work collaboratively with you team on long-term projects to scale-up our digital solution:

• Support the scaling of our solution by optimizing and refactoring the existing features according to business needs.
• Take part in the creation of new processes and technical features dedicated to increase the product reliability and performance
• Maintain and improve the Continuous Delivery workflow designed to smoothly ship code and improvements to production as frequently as possible
• Work on other long-term projects such as the centralization of data within 3 different infrastructures (Europe, Canada and USA) etc.

2) Daily support

• Resolve technical incidents met by our clients received via our ticketing system (Jira)
• Adjust and improve the solution based on the daily troubles encountered by the clients
• Be the point of contact within the company to answer technical questions related to the product and its infrastructure by other departments

Your Profile

• You have a background in software engineering or related fields with 3+ years of experience.
• You are a passionate IT with a developer background, along with a strong affinity for the infrastructure

• Knowledge of PHP, SQL and Docker is a must
• Experience with Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, AWS is an asset
• You have basic knowledge of DevOps and Continuous Delivery
• You are a problem-solver and you like taking on new challenges
• You are work-proficient in English
• You are eligible to work in Europe
