We are searching for a Solution Architect!
The ambition of the Janssen EMEA Solution Architecture team is to make the right technology decisions for the next generation of digital capabilities at Janssen. With our team of technology professionals, we’re crafting the architectural blueprints for the technology solutions of Janssen. We focus on application and data architectures, end-2-end integrations, innovation and sophisticated analytics. Our solution designs seek for an outstanding and streamlined digital experience for patients, customers, and employees.
We’re looking for a Solution Architect who can apply her/his outstanding technology skills in making this a reality.
We are looking for someone who
- breaths data, and therefore gets energized when talking about data governance, data integration, data harmonization, data lineage, data models and data catalogs
- has hands-on experience with relevant tools & technologies (Cloud vendors, S3, Redshift, QlikSense, Dataiku, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Collibra, ETL tooling, …) and is therefore able to conduct technical POC’s
- can go deep into solution architecture technical design but can also look at the big picture.
- Build and maintain a formal data structures, data description and data architecture; this can include data models, data definitions (logical, physical, and conceptual), data flow diagrams, data dictionaries, etc.
- has validated communication and visualization skills and is a great teammate with a collaborative mentality.
- can craft flexible and reusable components, applying strong problem-solving skills
- is creative and highly interested in innovative technologies while also being structured and methodological in approach.
- has experience developing IT and cloud infrastructure
Key responsibilities:
- Work with the Data & Analytics (D&A) and Data Science Product Lines to guide & facilitate architectural design activities to support our data strategies around Patient Engagement, Omnichannel & Vaccines
- Drive roadmap discussions, and plans for an evolving D&A solution landscape in alignment with Enterprise Architecture
- Analyze current technologies & solution landscape within the company and determine ways to improve (in the domain of Data & Analytics).
- Is seen as the domain specialist in application & data architecture
- Align with the Build teams to ensure proposed architectures get implemented as designed.
- Works with relevant teams to ensure solutions and integrations meet all security & compliance requirements
- Refines our patient data strategy & architecture with a focus on data anonymization
- Supervises Data Flows and guards our data management principles
