Tasks and Qualifications:

As a Solution Manager:

  • You manage projects ranging from small to complex intralogistics solutions in the sales phase and lead the responsible internal quotation team.
  • You will team-up with the Sales Manager and ensure the technical support of the projects.
  • You control the progress of the project within the set deadline, budget framework and ensure compliance with the quotation process and synchronisation of external and internal milestones.
  • Your tasks include project planning and checking the technical feasibility of the project.
  • You will provide guidance or support in the creation of the project layout.
  • You prepare customer workshops and conduct them together with the sales department
  • You will prepare technical and costing documents.
  • You specify parts of the installation to be purchased externally and contact external suppliers to receive the necessary quotations for these.
  • You are the primary contact for your project to coordinate with all involved departments such as: IT, electrical, mechanical engineering and project management.

What we are looking for

  • You have a degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable professional qualification.
  • You have professional experience in comparable fields of activity
  • Ideally you have previous knowledge in logistics and in the field of logistics systems / storage and retrieval machines / multi-shuttles / materials handling technology
  • You have AutoCAD knowledge as well as Word/Excel/Access/Visio knowledge
  • You are communicative and are fluent in English and preferably (but not necessary) speak Dutch. Other languages is a plus.
