Job Purpose and Impact

The SQM Audit & Supply Chain Category Lead is responsible for designing, executing and improving the governance of food safety, quality and regulatory audits at Cargill facilities in EMEA region. On top of that, you will partner closely with service providers in the supply chain (transport and transport cleaning stations) and internal colleagues in procurement, operations, supply chain and regulatory to ensure achievement of product safety and quality business goals through effective management of vendor relationships and performance. In this role, you will collaborate with multiple departments to ensure vendor evaluations are properly completed to identify risk and appropriate due diligence is given to mitigate risk related to vendors, to ensure compliance with food & feed safety, quality and regulatory standards. This role is open to candidates located in EU.

Key Accountabilities
  • Lead vendor evaluations in the supply chain category (transport and cleaning stations service providers) and ensure compliance with food & feed safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead internal food & feed safety, quality and regulatory audit processes, including designing the governance, planning and driving continuous improvement.
  • Provide tactical leadership to ensure key performance indicators are tracked, monitored and achieved.
  • Audit vendors and Cargill facilities and coordinate the efforts of others within the businesses to complete and ensure follow up on audit findings.
  • Lead change management communication and ensure continuous relationship management with vendors in your category.
  • Raise deployment risks or issues, develop mitigation strategies for issue resolution, handle improvement opportunities and respond to complex questions raised by the business.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience in product safety, quality and auditing systems
  • Minimum of four years working as (full time) internal and / or vendor auditor in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working through ambiguity in diverse environments across multiple levels of internal and external organizations
  • In depth knowledge and experience with food/ feed industry audit requirements
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality in supply chain in food / feed industry
  • Certified lead auditor in a GFSI standard.
