Stage: JavaScript Development

Codifly is een jong bedrijf te Aalst gespecialiseerd in de ontwikkeling van innovatieve apps. Wij helpen bedrijven met het bouwen van complexe hoog-interactieve webapplicaties en mobiele applicaties, en dit van backend tot user interface. We zijn voornamelijk actief voor startups, maar werken ook aan innovatieprojecten van gevestigde waarden.

Onze Missie

Wij geloven sterk in het web en IoT en zijn er vast van overtuigd dat de technologische evolutie hier nog maar net begonnen is. Met als achterliggende visie “Improve the connected world”, verbeteren we als koplopers dag na dag de verbonden wereld. Zo dragen wij ons steentje bij in de manier waarop we leven, communiceren, werken en spelen. Concreet gebruiken we de laatste JavaScript-technologieën (React.js, React-Native, Node.js, ES7, Redux, GraphQL, Relay, Angular2…) voor het bouwen van zowel web als native applicaties met een sterke visuele identiteit en een optimale gebruikservaring, perfect afgestemd op de noden van de eindgebruiker.

De Stage

Tijdens je stage zal je samen met ons jong en enthousiast team werken aan de ontwikkeling van dergelijke applicaties (web/native/server) geschreven met behulp van bovengenoemde technologieën. Je leert hierbij de toepassing van Agile-methoden, van sprint planning tot project tracking. Je leert verder gebruik te maken van hedendaagse software development tools (Gitlab, JIRA, Confluence, SourceTree/Git) en JavaScript-tools zoals Webpack, Babel, ESLint en VS Code. Je leert groeipijnen te voorkomen door het consistent volgen van best practices zoals codedocumentatie, software testing en preventief refactoren.

Vereisten

Als voorwaarden om onze stagiair te worden:

• Je volgt een bacheloropleiding (of hoger) in de informatica
• Je wil een stage in webontwikkeling als onderdeel van je studies
• Je kan een stage-overeenkomst bezorgen via jouw hogeschool of universiteit
• Je kan je uitdrukken in Nederlands en Engels en bent vlot in minstens 1 van beide
• Je resoneert met onze missie “reinventing the connected world”
• Je verinnerlijkt onze waarden
• Je hebt basiskennis van en een diepe interesse in React, JavaScript, Git, …
• Je bent bereid bij ons op kantoor te werken
• Je bent inwoner van de EU, EER of Zwitserland of hebt een arbeidskaart gelding in België
