Job description

To support this fast growing business unit, Katoen Natie is looking for a Strategic Account Manager for its site in Antwerp (Kallo) for the business line ‘Home & Garden’ t with an approximate turnover of 60mio€

The Strategic Account Manager:

  • Is lead/coach for the business line ‘Home & Garden’
  • Is a key enabler to develop strategic relations within the DMU’s of the customer portfolio
  • Helps the KAM to make a strategic plan to grow with our customers
  • Will be responsible, coaches / trains and helps, the Key Account Managers in the business line
  • Increases market knowhow in the KAM team and enhance market specialization
  • Helps on identifying new actions to increase customer satisfaction and customer retention
  • Verifies calculations of new offers and strives for standardization in rate structure
  • Has P&L co-responsibility for each customer and helps to solve problems
  • Reviews the monthly management letters for correctness and correct actions
  • Supports the annual budgets and comments the financial result
  • Supports the legal coverage of the performed (logistics) activities
  • Helps to renegotiate existing contracts or ad hoc services
  • Will represent the customers of the business lines in the site management board
  • Will evaluate KAMs on their performance and the 5 KAM pillars
Your profile
    • You are a team player and have the quality to coach a team
    • You have good negotiation skills and the ability to strive for win-win situations with our customers
    • Keywords : KTN Values and is Committed / Social / Analytical / Bird’s eye perspective
    • Education: Master degree, or similar by experience
    • Willingness to travel
    • Language skills: o English: intensive professional experience o French: professional experience o Additional language skills are a plus
    • Computer software skills: o Advanced excel knowledge o Advanced PowerPoint knowledge
    • Financial analysis skills
