The opportunity
We are looking to hire a Supplier Risk Manager, who will work closely together with the Head of Critical Outsourcing & Partner Management.
In this position, your role will be to develop and maintain the practice of outsourcing for the business line Merchant Services (MS), aligned with the Payment Institute strategy of Worldline. You will own critical intercompany relationships end-2-end throughout the contract lifecycle under the regulatory supervision of the National Bank of Belgium (NBB) and with an impact on MS profitability. While acting as central contact point for critical outsourcing & critical suppliers within MS, you craft the control assurance strategy of MS with the MS Quality team.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include
· Own & steer the MS supplier advisory committee as governance body to regularly review critical supplier/outsourcing relationships, acting as the pivotal function between 2nd line of defense (Compliance, Risk, Security, Data Protection), local and international operational management and outsourcing service providers.
· Facilitate the key governance committee Outsourcing Control & Quality Board and the Executive Steering Committee for handling the outsourced acquiring processing activities.
· Monitor MS supplier relationships to ensure the adequate controls for critical supplier/outsourcing relationships according to the criteria defined with 2nd LoD.
· Maintain an inventory of outsourcing activities for MS keeping an overview on all the outsourcing relationships of the MS organization across the regulated entities and geographies.
· Continuously improve the supplier risk management process aligning with stakeholders across the Worldline group.
· Coordinate the establishment and the update of intercompany contracts with the business owners ensuring the necessary reviews (finance, tax, legal).
· Build awareness in the Merchant Service organization w.r.t. the sound management of outsourcing relationships, be it 3rd parties outside the WL group or internal group suppliers.
· Define, deploy, communicate and supervise the adequate implementation of the control assurance strategy of MS.
Your profile
· Master or Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Commercial Engineering, Applied Economics or similar
· Basic understanding of and high affinity towards the regulatory context of a banking or payment environment, preferably with experience in the consulting industry
· Experience in managing contracts from a multidisciplinary perspective (operational, financial and legal aspects)
· Experience in Risk Management is preferred
· You are process, risk and control minded
· You have integrity and strength skills
· You are fluent in English
