We are hiring a Support Manager for our prestigious partner DIGIT TM (DG Informatics) in Brussels. DIGIT-TM is a contract from the European Commission for IT services across Europe.

Main Responsibilities
Non-exhaustive list of the tasks to be carried out in the scope of the contract.
The RSP+ Onboarding Service Manager will contribute to RSP Office activities, such as:
- Establish an efficient and transparent RSP+ onboarding process and supporting service, in
onboarding in process automation.
- Identify the resources needed for the activities in scope of ‘RSP+ Onboarding Service’
- Organise the ‘RSP+ Onboarding Service’ to provide timely advice to the IT teams for the best
- Support feasibility analysis for projects interested in use of RSP+ solutions
- Plan, deploy and manage the onboarding effort for any given onboarding project
- Monitor and report on progress of RSP+ onboarding projects
- Ensure effective issue escalation where there is a significant threat to delivery
- Develop methods and help customising and fine-tuning existing ones to select between
- Contribute to the objective of creating new reusable solutions by identifying opportunities in
- Contribute to making the RSP+ solutions more easily understandable and usable by external
- Maintain the RSP wiki pages and Teams channels relevant for RSP+ onboarding
- Design, improve and make available onboarding documentation and training
- Contribute to the development of the supporting Community of Practices
- Contribute to the DSMP initiative, in particular the cluster dedicated to Process Automation
REQUIRED EXPERTISE
1. Experience in service management and coordination of many support teams
2. Good understanding of new technologies, innovative technology trends and integration
platforms relevant in the development, deployment and operation of Information Systems
3. Experience in software development projects and service management, understanding
software engineering modern challenges: interoperability and security
4. Hands-on working experience in a DevOps delivery model and SLA management, strong
commitment to customer satisfaction and to continuous service improvement via regular
monitoring, reporting and acting on KPIs
5. Experience in identification of requirements, preparation of technical and functional specification, identification of acceptance criteria, elaboration of project plans
6. Strong commitment and experience with reuse of software assets
7. Very Good knowledge of Development lifecycle and agile methodology
8. Ability to work with a high degree of rigour and method
9. Ability to grasp new concepts and understand new and complex domains very fast
10. Rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working
11. Ability to apply high quality standards
12. Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, excellent communicator
13. Technical writing skills in English
14. Very Good knowledge of English (spoken, written).
15. Excellent collaboration, communication and inter-personal skills
16. Due to the particular nature of a large international organisation such as the European
Commission, candidates should also have the following non-technical skills:
– Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment, on large projects
– Ability to participate in multilingual meetings
SPECIFIC EXPERTISE
1. Specific expertise in implementing ITIL service management processes: Service Strategy,
Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operations and Continual Service Improvement
2. Expertise in designing, implementing and monitoring service KPIs and SLAs
We are looking for service provider with
- Experience as stated in the framework contract for the regarded profile
- Proven required and specific experience as described above
- Rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working
- Ability to do presentations in front of large and varied audiences
- Good planner, able to follow more than one subject at a time
- Proactive attitude, communicative (i.e. good listener) and customer/result oriented
- Patience, problem solving, diplomacy
- Motivation and vision for the mission, trust in working and relaying on others
- Able to deal mainly with technical stakeholders, but at the same time sensitive to the business side of Information Systems
- With strong analytical skills
- With a good deal of common sense and strong organisational skills
- With good communication, drafting and presentation skills
- Understanding, speaking and writing English (at least B2 level) (French is an asset)
- Experience with risk, feasibility, Gap and Cost-Benefit analysis methods
- Experience with Agile@EC / SaFE
- Familiarity with JIRA Issues & Project Tracking, PM2
- Experience in both business and IT
- Experience in public service organisations
- Experience with middleware integration platforms (e.g. SAP BTP, ServiceNow IntegrationHub, Azure Integration Services)
- Experience with micro-services and event-management based architectures
- Experience with Commission’s Reusable Solutions Platform (EU Login, API Gateway, eUI,
