Purpose

As a vital member of the new ERP Implementation project team (SAP S/4 HANA & Success Factors), we seek an experienced Data Migration & Integration Lead. The role is pivotal in the upcoming ERP implementation, taking charge of the end-to-end data migration process and ensuring a seamless transition from legacy systems to the new ERP platform. The Data Migration & Integration Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze data requirements, design migration & integration strategies, and oversee the execution of data migration & integration activities. Reporting to the Project Office Manager, this role holds a key position in ensuring a successful ERP implementation.

Responsibilities

Data Integration Lead:
Oversee the integration of complex business processes between SAP and non-SAP systems, ensuring smooth communication and processes.

Focus on functional analysis and implementation of the designed integration solution, collaborating with integration architects.

Lead requirements gathering sessions with business and technical staff.

Contribute to technical decisions of the data integration solution in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Data Migration Lead:
Data Analysis and Mapping

Conduct a thorough analysis of existing data structures and map them to the data model of the new ERP system (S/4 HANA Public Cloud).

Collaborate with stakeholders to define data migration requirements and priorities.

Migration Strategy and Planning

Develop a comprehensive data migration strategy in collaboration with implementation partner.

Create a detailed migration plan outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.

Data Cleansing and Transformation

Lead efforts to cleanse and transform data to meet the standards of the new ERP system.

Follow-up on data quality checks and validation processes.

Technical Execution

Utilize data migration tools and technologies for efficient execution.

Work closely with the technical team to address any issues during the migration process.

Testing and Validation

Develop and execute test plans to validate the accuracy and integrity of migrated & integrated data.

Collaborate with Business Process Owners (BPO’s) for user acceptance testing (UAT)

Documentation

Maintain comprehensive documentation of data migration & integration processes.

Provide training and support to end-users on data-related processes and best practices.

Collaboration and Communication

Work closely with the project team to ensure alignment with project goals.

Communicate progress, challenges, and resolutions to project stakeholders at all levels.

Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5 to 7 years of relevant professional experience.

Proven experience in leading data migration efforts, especially in ERP system implementations.

ETL tool experience and SQL skills considered a plus.

Familiarity with API management, MicroServices, message queues considered a plus.

Strong understanding of data modeling, data cleansing, and data transformation techniques.

Familiarity with ERP systems and their data structures.

Proficiency in using data migration tools and technologies.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Experience with SAP S4/HANA public cloud or JD Edwards.

Previous experience in Real Estate or Retail industries.
