As Team Leader in our Engineering department, you coach a team of engineers, technicians and its partners in device manufacturing who are responsible for the hardware and process aspects of a number of pilot production machines in imec¿s cleanrooms, mainly prototype systems or early versions. What you will do As a Team Leader in the FAB Engineering department, you are responsible for the daily management of ca. 15 professionals. These are mainly engineers and technicians of imec and its partners in device manufacturing who are responsible for the hardware and process aspects of a number of pilot production machines in imec¿s cleanrooms, mainly prototype systems or early versions. You motivate and coach your team and you ensure the best training and selection of staff. You draw up the planning and allocate resources in a manner that supports the short-term objectives and the strategic goals. With your team, you are ambitious to constantly improve and optimise the maintenance and the performance of the machines as well as to improve existing processes and introduce new ones. Profil

Who you are You obtained preferably a master¿s degree in Engineering Sciences. You have experience in maintenance or similar technical activities in a production environment. Knowledge of high-tech manufacturing processes and / or experience in guiding improvement processes is required. You preferably already led a team and have good leadership and communication skills: you are able to delegate work and to motivate and coach a team. Furthermore, we are looking for your resilience and strong problem-solving skills and your ability to plan, organise and set priorities.
