• Typically within this role you frequently exchange thoughts with the other team managers from the AGV project execution group
• Within your team you are responsible for the organization and strategy. You provide a clear and strong communication in your team.
• You assist in the recruiting process in function of the project execution strategy
• You continually evaluate the functioning of your team members (360° feedback)
• You strive towards an uniform way of work within your team through continuous improvement of process and procedure
• You participate in kick-off meetings to evaluate project scope, allowing you to plan the correct resources for project execution
• You organize and plan your team members in function of the project needs and collaborate with the project managers and technical leads to mitigate project impediments
• You support our pre-sales departments on conceptual solutions for AGV installations, in collaboration with the technical leads, and provide cost and planning estimates for project opportunities.
• You organize and/or provide focus on standard global AGV Solutions and the continual improvement thereof. You assist in evaluating custom solution opportunities on the basis of risk and AGV project execution group strategy.
• You are highly attentive to the complete project flow, from pre-sales to as-built, including change modification and supporting the customer service department through provision of thorough engineering documentation
• You organize regular team meetings to monitor project progress and as a platform for knowledge sharing and information.
• You are actively involved in the operational meetings concerning AGV project execution.
• You keep learning and remain active and up to date in your broad understanding of mechatronic engineering and facilitate technological development of the team. You love working in a team and learning from each other.

• As an AGV Mechatronic team lead you guide a large team of electrical and mechanical engineers responsible for the concepting, designing and supporting the engineering production of AGV systems across Europe and beyond.
• For this role you need to be passionate about automation in material handling solutions.
• You are responsible for the planning and coordination of a growing team currently comprising 12 AGV Mechatronic Engineers
• Whilst your background may be technical your focus is the facilitation of a technical team through effective people management, process and procedure and promoting a strong team ethic both in your team and the wider organization
• You have excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Dutch, French and/or German are an asset.
• You have a mechatronic background with at least 10 years’ experience in automation and a minimum of 3 years team management
