We are hiring a "Technical Solution architect" for our client in Belgium

In the Finance and Deliver domain of the Supply Chain Pharm Commercial business in EMEA, Galaxy is the main application for managing the Order to Invoice, Order to Cash, Record to Report, Trade and non-Trade procurement, legal corporate and management reporting for more than 25 MRCs in the region.

This complex environment requires an in-depth and broad understanding of the infrastructure technology, business processes, coupled with skills to manage relationships with Business and across IT.

The Galaxy Technical Solution architect is the technical responsible for the Pharm Commercial EMEA ERP and BW platforms, including satellite non-SAP applications. Main activities and responsibilities include:

- Work with the application teams analyzing business requirements in order to determine the best solution within the SAP / non-SAP landscape of the Finance and Deliver domain according to the corporate and supply chain strategy

- Responsible for the technical roadmap of the platform

- Lead the integration between SAP and non-SAP systems in the supply chain environment

- Liaise with ISRM to ensure all evidences for Galaxy are properly addressed, planned and mitigated/closed

- Liaise with TS (application and infrastructure teams) to proactively manage platform health, stability, performance, storage, lifecycle management, and initiate proper initiatives

- Liaise with the project teams ensuring consistency of the developments, consistency of the timelines and roadmap, facilitating the integration with TS architect / basis team, or external partners

- Lead the initiation, evaluation, and manage the projects related to the lifecycle management of the platform from BT perspective

The position reports to the Product Owner “Support and Enhancements” of the Finance and Deliver domain in EMEA within the BT Supply Chain Plan/ERP organization.

Education

- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or technical field

Qualifications and experience

- 10+ years of experience in IT required, with a solid background in the SAP project delivery and operations

- 7+ years of SAP experience

- Prior experience leading SAP design, implementation, and support initiatives

- Broad infrastructure and application background/knowledge

- Knowledge and experience in the following technologies is preferred: SAP integration technologies, ABAP, SOAP/REST web services, SQL, Linux, Windows, WMware, WebMethods, Network protocols, storage solutions, AWS, Sharepoint

- Knowledge and preferably experience with the following tools: ServiceNow, Jira, Microsoft Project

- Experience in working with Agile methodology

- Ability to perform in-depth systems analysis, recognizes problems, opportunities, or underlying patterns

- Analyze requirements and translate them into priorities and action plans

- Experience in infrastructure development lifecycle of SAP ERP

- Process knowledge in the finance, sales, and distribution domains, with understanding of corresponding SAP standard business processes and solutions

- Fluent with the SAP security model

- Fluent with the SAP monitoring and performance analysis tools

- Solid relationship building skills and presentation skills

- Commands solid verbal and written capabilities

- Fluent in spoken and written English

- Results driven, focused on deliverables, meeting deadlines

- Pro-active issues resolution with a continuous improvement mindset

- Good team player, willing to help out other teams
