For our Schneider Electric NV/SA division, we are looking for a Technical Support Engineer who works for the region of Belgium, based in Uccle, Belgium
Your meaningful purpose
After a thorough training you give 1st line technical and commercial support and advise customers by phone, email, and chat. You act in a solution-oriented manner. You have your own knowledge and experience but also various digital tools and a lab at your disposal to solve the issues.
Your Daily Task And Responsibilities
- You support customers in selecting the right products.
- You support customers in case of failure of various emergency power supplies such as a UPS
- You guide customers in case of a defect with a possible replacement.
- You check and correct configurations based on technical feasibility, of course this will be based on your experience.
- You will be trained regularly to broaden your knowledge, the longer you work for us we look where your ambition lies and we can expand your knowledge (industrial automation, emergency power, switchgear, software).
- You maintain all relevant information regarding the above relationships in our CRM system Salesforce.

Qualifications
Who you are?
The qualities and characteristics of the ideal candidate for Technical Specialist
- You have a technical education at least MBO + level in the direction of Electrical Engineering, or similar.
- You have technical knowledge (and understanding) of the electrical industry.
- You have built up experience on the inside sales of an electrical wholesaler / or worked as an electrician.
- Minimum of 5 years work experience in electrical engineering.
- You are good with ICT systems (SAP, Salesforce as CRM, and Office 365)
- You have a good command of the Dutch language; English is an advantage.
- You work in a team but are also independent, you think in possibilities and solutions and have a positive and proactive attitude.
- You are flexible, decisive, and customer-oriented and you understand that it is important for your customer to be helped quickly and efficiently.
