We are excited to announce a new vacancy at our fast-growing and innovative company, enovates.

Enovates has been a pioneer for 8 years at the cutting edge of technology for charging electric vehicles of the present and the future. It goes without saying that we are only at the beginning of where this journey will take us. Thousands of devices that have been technologically developed from A to Z by eNovates are now scattered throughout Europe. Because we want to further expand our Belgian leadership in this matter, we are looking for talented, Test Automation Engineers.

Your role

• Design, Build, Optimize and Maintain a fully automated test flow and infrastructure to execute all tests related to the eNovates’ charge point products
• Participate in the quality review processes, execute integration testing, system testing, regression and end2end testing, analyse the testing results and deliver test reporting
• Contribute to in-depth root cause analysis
• Write functional documentation based upon the requirements or through re-engineering of existing code snippets
• Participate in the software quality review process
• Optionally, contribute to the design, development and maintenance of the Charge Point platform firmware
• Optionally, take the lead of a small, autonomous test squad during the implementation of a software/firmware component in the context of a product or project
  
  

Your profile

• Master / Bachelor in Electronics/Informatics or Industrial engineer Electronics/Informatics (or equivalent through experience)
• Programming languages and supporting tools: Object-oriented programming, Python (must have), Java (good to have), C++ (good to have), GIT/Bitbucket/Jenkins (good to have), Jira (good to have), Linux (Bash)( (good to have),
• Has knowledge of testing framework principles and ideally test certified (e.g. ISTQB,…)
• Result driven, hands-on, team player
• Change mindset & problem-solving attitude, goes the extra mile when needed
• Basic knowledge of agile processes
• Understands and respects the aspects of (information) security
• Affinity with or interest in the embedded domain (STM chipset, EmbedOS), network and communication technologies (2G, 4G, Ethernet, Bluetooth, serial communication (RS232, RS485, Modbus…)), electronics and/or electricity
• Affinity with or interest in the Electric Vehicles and Electric Charging domain
• Fluent Dutch and English

About Enovates

eNovates is a rapidly growing technology company that is driven by mobility and sustainability. It was created in 2010 as a think-tank in a business club and focused, right from the start, on developing and producing charging systems and management software to support the electric mobility ecosystem.
