In our new site in Tessenderlo, we are welcoming a big well-known lifestyle & fashion Customer. Both E-commerce and retail stores in EUR will be supplied from a new highly automated operation. Your Role

As Transport Coordinator, you will be responsible for the daily planning of (container) transport modalities. You will organize the delivery and loading of shipments in cooperation with the dedicated suppliers in order to obtain the best possible solution: best service and best price. The customer you will work for is a fashion Luxury brand. Project scope 24 months of phased implementation.
Your Responsibilities
  • Planning of (container) transport modalities for both import and export shipments;
  • Informing the customer correctly and in time about the course of the shipment while following up with other departments and/or subcontractors while building, maintaining, and developing good relationships with internal and external contacts;
  • Pointing out or correcting mistakes and resolving issues in agreement with your direct manager;
  • Optimization of the operational and administrative processes for more efficiency within your department;
  • Completely handling all outgoing and incoming invoices, which imply entering data, invoice creating, sending, collecting, etc., and delivering administrative tasks correctly and promptly;
  • Preparing the right documents that are needed for the correct handling of a shipment and taking responsibility for the invoicing of shipments;
  • Opening, preparing, and completing files with transport, customer, and invoicing data while also creating reports and checklists;
  • Working following KN BE QSHE procedures and existing SOPs and WIs while actively cooperating on creating them;
  • You will prepare the tendering process and follow-up and step in as the backup Transport Manager;
  • You will be a member of a project team and an implementation key user.

Your Skills And Experiences
  • Bachelor/master Logistics/Supply Chain/Forwarding or equal level by experience;
  • Min. of 2 years experience within Supply chain or logistic department;
  • MS Office and other IT skills: basic MS Word, MS Outlook, and MS Excel;
  • Language skills: Good level of English and Dutch. Other languages are considered an asset;
  • You have good organizing skills and enjoy a healthy level of stress in your function;
  • You have good negotiating skills and a certain degree of assertiveness, which enables you to communicate with suppliers;
  • Eager to learn;
  • Agile and flexible attitude as we are in a continuous changing environment as KN is growing very fast.
