Transport Products Distribution Responsible

Introduction

Our Production Logistics department supports Volvo Group Operations regarding international and local transportation. In addition, the department also supports the packaging of incoming materials and outgoing materials for transport and for storage of transit materials for the various plants.

Do you love to?

  • You are responsible for delivering finished products to agreed final destination and on agreed delivery date.
  • You proactively monitor deliveries and make adjustments to avoid or minimize the impact on the end customer.
  • You are responsible to reschedule deliveries on customer demand (rush/express).
  • You proactively use short and mid-term forecast.
  • You are the daily contact for operational questions from the customer or supplier.
  • You are responsible for delivery follow-up for the markets you are responsible for.
  • You are an important link in the escalation process of recurring deviations.

Is this something you like to explore, visualizing data, working with different tools and seeing how they can be implemented, training colleagues to work with these new tools, etc.? ?

  • You like working with new tools, have technical savviness, and knowledge of data analysis tools (or strong interest in them). (Visual Basic, Power BI, Qlick Sense, Qlick View, Sharepoint, One Note....)

  • You are analytical and problem solving minded.
  • You are stress resistant and hands-on.
  • You can express yourself fluently in English and French.
