TASKS DESCRIPTION

Your tasks:

You assist a tire assembler and work according to his guidelines:

• You install tires and make visual controls
• You inspect the condition of a tire
• You assembly, disassembly and balance the tires
• You repair a tire which was detached from a wheel (easy tasks)
• You prepare a car for alignment
• You respect the regulations regarding safety, hygiene and environment and you constantly strive to learn the job
• You interpret the tire wear and tear
• You lift a car with a jack or a car lift
• You systematically assemble and disassemble a wheel and a tire
• You disassemble a tire from a car rim
• You place an inner tube
• You use all the tools and machines correctly

Used tools:

• All equipment and tools for tire assembly/disassembly
• All equipment and tools used for balancing
• All equipment and tools used for tires regrooving
• All (measuring)equipment and tools used for alignment

REQUIREMENTS

Education - Not needed

Work experience - must have enough experience to change tires of the car alone or in pair in +/- 20-30 minutes of time

Language - English communicative

Drivers licence It is must

Requirements Ideally candidates should have at least 2 seasons of experience, but someone with less experience is also welcome. Working environment is friendly but candidates need to be able to work in a fast pace, experience with ‘’run flat’’ tires and air pressure sensors TPMS must be mastered.

CONDITIONS

Regular hours per week hours This year it’s not so easy to guarantee 50 hours per week. Some garages don’t have much overtime, but it can arrive once peak season is established (depending on weather)

Paycheck Weekly

Gross salary First 500 hours working : 16.1014 €/h +500 hours worked : 17.71038€/h

Estimated net salary - 433€/week ( 16.1014€/h – 40h based ) 475€/week ( 17.71038€/h – 40h based )

Shift hours - Day work

Travel cost -We pay back for the cost of travel TO Belgium up to 125€ - based on a ticket, fuel receipt (the date on the receipt must be the date of travel!)

Overtime - This year it’s not so easy to guarantee 50 hours per week. Some garages don’t have much overtime, some still do. Candidates need to be prepared for 40-50 hours (sometimes it will be only 40)

How is overtime paid? - Normal overtime: 150% on the Gross Salary with normal taxes withheld.

Public Transport Possible? No

Driver’s licence and car required? Nice to have or willing to ride a bike.

Rent of housing - 95€ double 145€ single

Rent of car ( if available)

Other mobility solutions - Available for different price ranges. Only normal bike for free.

Medical insurance 9€/month

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €16.10 - €17.70 per hour
