About the Role:

Organise and direct warehouse(s) activities to effectively manage the receipt, storage, selection, preparation, packaging, loading and dispatch of products to the customer in a timely, safe and optimal manner, involving both physical and information flows.

Main Responsibilities:

Steering of policies, organization of supervised activity

Define the strategy, orientations and objectives to be achieved by ensuring productivity and safety, efficient use of storage space, etc. ), processes, resources (human, material, budgetary, informational) of the warehouses, the action plan

Participate in the negotiation and follow up of contracts with external service providers

Define and follow up expenses and investments according to the budgetary framework proposed and validated with the hierarchy

Establish the warehousing policy (internal, external) and define the size of the sites (due to the season)

Provide technical/methodological support to colleagues in carrying out activities

Evaluate and/or anticipate malfunctions and make recommendations on handling/warehouse equipment requirements, cost containment, optimization of work processes, etc.

Identify and implement productivity levers (reduction of logistics costs)

Propose areas of improvement from both a quantitative and qualitative point of view

Guarantee of the quality of the service provided

Guarantee of the "price paid for pallets" in compliance with the established norms

Define, manage and lead the logistics KPI’s of the activity

Management

Manage the human resources of the organization within the framework of the activity and its fluctuations (recruitment, development of skills, work organization, evaluation, etc.) with the aim of optimizing both quality (organization, skills) and quantity (resources)

Manage the social climate

Safety/Quality/Hygiene

Ensuring compliance

Ensuring the safety of people and property

Analysing and anticipating the causes of non-compliance and implementing corrective actions

Who we are looking for:

Strong experience in Logistic and Management in an industrial or FMCG environment

Capacity to participate in the definition of the Supply chain strategy

Trilingual in Dutch, French and English mandatory

Knowledge in SAP and Excel

Leadership – Supervision Team management: development, communication, organization…

Relay of HR communication on the site
