Yusen Logistics is a worldwide logistics supplier offering air/ocean freight forwarding, distribution, storage, warehousing and supply chain management services.

Yusen Logistics Benelux has offices in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Sweden. In total more than 750 people work for Yusen Benelux.

As a member of the WMS applications team, you will be responsible for:

• Implementing the Yusen standard WMS system Manhattan SCALE. This can be a new implementation, a change or a migration from a legacy system to the standard system

• Translation of business owners’ requirements into functional and technical WMS designs in line with European guidelines

• To document complex custom requirements including scoping, functional and architectural design

• Configurations of the warehouse management system

• Liaising with development or integration teams when necessary to provide the input they need to create interfaces / enhancements / SQLs / EXIT point’s etc.

• Test functional enhancements or configuration changes

• Performing system testing and providing support during user acceptance testing

• Evaluation of new SCALE versions

• To train business key users and application support

• Troubleshooting incidents

• To suggest WMS improvements and innovation.

We are looking for:

An enthusiastic colleague who will reinforce our team and possesses following qualities:

• You have a profound knowledge of warehouse processes and have built up a comprehensive practical experience implementing and configuring warehouse management systems

• You are a hands-on team-player with strong analytical skills

• You have good communication skills in French and English both spoken as written

• You work in a structured way following project management principles

• SQL has little secrets for you and you know your way around databases, by preference SQL Server / Azure SQL

• You have a basic understanding about EDI and interfaces

• Proven experience with Scale WMS (Manhattan Associates) is considered an advantage.
