We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our dynamic team in Limburg, Belgium. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects utilizing Java, Angular/React, and AWS Lambda technologies. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development and maintenance of robust, scalable applications in a cloud-based environment.

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications with a focus on high performance and scalability
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using Angular or React frameworks
• Implement serverless architectures using AWS Lambda and other cloud services
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs to support application functionality
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application code
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Java development and cloud computing
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development
• Strong proficiency in Java and related frameworks
• Hands-on experience with Angular or React for front-end development
• Demonstrated experience with AWS Lambda and serverless computing
• Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and services
• Proficiency in developing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent analytical and organizational abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent English Required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification
