Job Description

  • Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Completing monthly bank reconciliations and posting journal entries.
  • Supporting the accounting team in daily office needs.
  • Participating in financial audits and assisting in the preparation of audit documents.
  • Keeping records of invoices, payments and transactions.
  • Adhering to the company’s financial policies and procedures.
  • Assisting in budget preparation.
  • Preparing VAT returns and maintaining the petty cash system.

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Junior Accountant Should Have

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
  • A solid understanding of financial and accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel.
  • Knowledge of accounting software.
  • An aptitude for numerical data.
  • Excellent communication skills.
