The team you will be a part of

The Finance General team manages the planning and direction of the finance process and activities. Activities include the efficient operation and cost-effectiveness of operating systems and programs.

This role in summary

We are looking for a junior accountant who will play a key role in our Benelux finance team, not only responsible for traditional accounting activities but also for analyzing, budgeting, and reporting.

This role is located in Strombeek-Bever, Belgium.

Your responsibilities will include

• Support in financial analyses and budgeting
• Assisting in month-end closures
• Controlling the marketing and SG&A budget
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
• Play a key role in financial and tax audits
• Support the SSC in the accounts payable process and support local users in the indirect procurement process
• Tackle VAT compliance in close cooperation with our central VAT team
• Processor role in Concur (travel and expense system)

Minimum requirements

• We are looking for a candidate with an analytical and critical mindset who can work accurately and well-structured
• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance or Accounting and you have at least 3 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a multinational environment
• You are fluent in Dutch and English and have a good knowledge of French
• You work fluently with the different SAP modules, Excel, and Google. Knowledge of Concur is a plus
