General Mission

Ensure the implementation and quality of the complete software solution.

Main responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain code

  • Design and develop software code with the expected level of quality and maintainability. Take part to the resolution of bugs.

Write, execute and maintain unit test cases, define and execute integration tests

  • Understand and develop software verification plans and execute the test procedures.

Document the software implementation

  • Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.

Support internal and external customers

  • Provide active support to other teams after delivery.

Estimate the work to complete

  • Provide and respect estimations for workload and deadlines.

Apply software development methodologies, frameworks, processes and standards

  • Follow best practices and rules for software development. Challenge them and propose improvements.

Understand and challenge business needs

  • Develop software solutions by understanding and challenging business needs. Collaborate with the internal or external customers to design a software solution to their needs. Update and improve the software functionality.

Perform peer review

  • Review outcomes produced by other team members and propose improvements. Support team (give advice, order material, etc.) by providing one’s own expertise according to one’s domain.

Required competencies

  • Master’s degree in computer science or in computer engineering
  • Extended knowledge of modern C ++ (20/23) and inter-processes development
  • Knowledge on embedded software and linux OS
  • Knowledge on machine learning
  • Experience with GIT, OOP and Python
  • Knowledge of cloud-based software development
  • Knowledge about ISO 62304 standard about medical device software life cycle processes
  • Understanding of FPGA architecture
