Who is the Mastercard Academy:
The Mastercard Academy was established over 25 years ago to help Mastercard customers and partners gain the knowledge, skills and insights needed to succeed in the world of payments.
Over this time we have developed our training offering to include a range of topics and areas that keep pace with an ever changing world.
Through our many training programmes and events, customers can learn more about Mastercard’s payment solutions and processes, and how to get the best from them. They can also find out more about the wider world of payments covering the latest trends and developments in digital and new payment channels. They have the choice of how to learn – by joining a virtual seminar and/or creating a customised training programme, and/or learning online through Academy on the web.

Role Summary:
The Mastercard Academy team in Europe is looking for someone to actively contribute to the online customer experience by taking responsibility for coordinating virtual trainings.

The candidate will be responsible for working closely with the rest of the Academy team and trainers from across a number of departments and will be involved in overseeing the successful production and delivery of live events (webinars) and trainings through our virtual learning platform - Academy on the web. As such you will gain wide exposure across the Mastercard business and have an opportunity to learn more about the payments industry.

This client facing position, will require you to work as part of a team to coordinate and manage the end-to-end process of the many webinars and training events we deliver including invitations, registrations, trainer rehearsals, customer platform support (Adobe Connect, Zoom or Teams), design support (PowerPoint, quizzes & polls) and event evaluation.

The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer engagement and experience, highly motivated, intellectually curious with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Other key skills and experience we are looking for within a successful candidate include:
. eligible for the Rosetta plan/program (first employment contract)
  • customer focused mindset with a focus on the user experience.
  • great organizational skills and someone who has an attention to detail.
  • good written and verbal communication skills
  • creative in draft engaging presentations as well as other collaterals.
  • takes accountability and is always looking for potential solutions to solve problems.
  • technology minded with experience of, or the ability to learn quickly, virtual platforms such as Adobe Connect, Zoom and MS Teams.
  • Good command of the Microsoft Office Suite particularly in PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); any other language is a plus (e.g., Spanish, Italian, Russian)
