Junior Full-Stack Developer/software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Full-stack Developer / Software Engineer to work with our development team based in Amsterdam and Ghent. Your mission is to build the next generation of trading related applications and services for customers and help improving our modern and dynamic web based trading platform.

Your challenges - what will you do at LYNX

• Design, build and improve the LYNX application stack used for running our trading platform, giving customers the best trading experience and a way for communicating and exchanging documents with LYNX in a secure manner

• Shape the overall platform architecture and design services for new projects that help us propel the business forward

• Improve the security, reliability and performance of our platform

• Fine-tune and extend our Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery processes

Your profile - What will help to excel in this role

• At least 2 years of professional experience in this or a similar role

• Good experience with Java and Java frameworks (e.g. Spring, Hibernate, Spring-Boot, Spring-Security, …)

• Good experience with (Vanilla) Javascript and at least one JS framework (Angular, Vue, React ...)

• Solid knowledge of SQL

• Experience with CI/CD (Creation of Jenkins jobs, deployment pipelines and automatizations) and deployment is a big plus

• Good knowledge developing RESTful services, interfaces with other services based on synchronous and async models

• Cloud and container experience (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes) is a big plus

• Very good communication skills and interest to work as part of a cross-functional, distributed, agile team. We communicate in English, knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
