We guide and advise internal stakeholders, to successfully navigate sourcing projects and engage with the right supplier for the requirements that were set. We are looking for a new colleague to join our Central Procurement Team. You will be responsible for providing guidance and expertise in procurement processes towards Facility, Mobility, IT, HR and Travel departments.A Procurement advisor plays a key role in optimizing costs, maintaining quality of services and supporting the organization’s goals.
You will focus on a wide range of activities allowing you to:
  • Implement our Central Procurement strategies and processes ( Scope, Market Research, Sourcing, RFx, Evaluate bids & negotiate, contracting);
  • Manage the contract lifecycle and supplier relationships;
  • Monitor vendor performance, service levels, and adherence to contract terms;
  • Act as business partner towards designated internal clients, understanding operational needs and align with client on ongoing procurement activities;
  • Source suppliers, Identify and evaluating potential suppliers to meet the needs of the internal client while considering factors like costs, quality and reliability;
  • Execute RFIs, RFQs and RFPs;
  • Engage in negotiations with suppliers;
  • Stay informed about the market trends for a range of categories;
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with suppliers, market volatility, disruptions and other factors that could impact procurement operations or supplier/client relationships;
  • Monitor supplier spend while seeking ways to optimize spending and achieve savings;
  • Utilize data analytics to make informed decisions;
  • Co-implement sustainable sourcing strategy towards suppliers;
  • Ensure sustainability requirements and ethical practices when selecting suppliers and products;
You will report towards the Procurement Lead, who will therefor directly report towards the COO.
Let’s talk about you
  • Master in Economics or similar;
  • You have 1-3 years of relevant experience within Procurement or similar role;
  • Hands-on, solution driven and business acumen;
  • Affinity with sustainable sourcing;
  • Good working knowledge of purchasing and sourcing strategies;
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English and Dutch, knowledge of French is a big plus;
  • Soft skills for relationships building;
  • Strong and critical analytical thinking;
  • Problem solving.
