Our Centre for People in the Smart Digitised Supply Chain are exploring how industry 4.0 technologies are changing the way people work. We are looking for a driven Junior Researcher to join this team!

The job

• Perform fundamental & applied research as a member of the Centre for People in the Smart Digitised Supply Chain. Find out how companies can deal with digitization of the supply chain and the role people play in this.
  • Plan research projects: ask the right questions, use the right methodology, etc.
  • Conduct desk research: find and synthesize relevant publications.
  • Develop questionnaires and other setups for data collection.
• Initiate, organise, and prepare workshops for and with the member companies of the research centre.
• Develop tools and new teaching materials.
• Disseminate knowledge to both business and academic audiences by writing papers, reports, articles, social media posts, attending conferences, etc.
• Provide support for our teaching and other activities of the department or Vlerick business School at large.

You

• Have obtained your master’s degree with excellent academic results.
• Love(d) working on your thesis and have a research mindset.
• Have a keen interest in organisational behaviour & behavioural skills.
• Have an excellent knowledge of English, written & verbal. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
• Are a team player who can work autonomously. You are eager to join forces with colleague researchers and faculty members.
• Are looking forward to organising workshops, connecting with members of the centre, developing new teaching content, and working on new teaching methods.
• Have a proactive and entrepreneurial attitude.
• Will be working on one of our beautiful campuses in Ghent, Leuven or Brussels in combination with your home office.
